About me and the way I work
Hello
Counselling isn’t a job for me – it’s a vocation.
It’s a path I embarked on, having spent many years initially working in often highly-pressured and sometimes glamourous business environments. But I realised nothing was as rewarding as helping individuals overcome their struggles and lead happier lives. And I haven’t looked back.
I'm a professionally qualified Counsellor and a Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) as well as an Accredited Member of the National Counselling Society (NCS).
In addition, I'm an accredited therapist for Anxiety UK and have also trained with Cruse Bereavement, specialising in grief and loss, as well as Relate, with a specific focus on couples’ counselling. Furthermore, I am a qualified EFT Practitioner (Level 2).
I think my passion – for what I do as well as for helping the people I work with – is evident and an important component in why the way I work has led to positive and tangible therapeutic results.
